Nevada State College may be young—the school first opened its doors to students in 2002—but it’s quickly becoming a beloved institution for local students and educators alike. Although there is only one university in Las Vegas, the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is the largest and most popular higher learning institution in the state. It also boasts the title of being the largest single-campus community college in the United States. CSN hosts a multitude of students every year across three campuses and several additional learning centers, offering more than 180 associate and bachelor’s degrees, certificate programs, and workforce training programs.
Students seeking to enter the workforce quickly can enroll in fast-tracked, short-term certificate programs for positions like medical assistant, dental assistant, computer network administrator, emergency medical technician, and more.
